Hike at Ingrebourne country park
Walk with us through one of Havering’s largest country parks in the beautiful Ingrebourne Valley. 🌿
This scenic park features the River Ingrebourne, open grassland, a fishing lake, woodland trails, and marshes that form the largest freshwater reed bed in London. As a Local Nature Reserve, it’s also a fantastic spot for birdwatching and wildlife spotting.
Terrain: Uneven and possibly muddy in places, so please wear appropriate footwear.
Elderflower season has begun! If you’d like, bring a bag along and after the hike we can collect elderflowers together and learn how to make homemade elderflower cordial.
Expect a brisk walk, singing birds and happy vibe.
Location: Squadrons Approach, Hornchurch RM12 6TS
