🌟 Provisional Itinerary:
Friday Evening:
- Begin your stay by exploring the beautiful YHA Chester Trafford Hall grounds. Unwind, breathe in the fresh air, and get ready for a weekend of exploration and connection.
Saturday:
- All day: Visit the North Wales. We will hike through the breathtaking Dinorwiq Quarry, enjoy a picnic🧺 amidst nature, and end the day with a 🔥 at the beach, soaking in the beauty of Allah’s creation.
Sunday:
- Morning: Discover the rich history of Chester with a walk along the Chester City Walls.
- Afternoon: Wrap up your weekend with a visit to BeWILDerwood** (a magical woodland adventure where children and adults can play and explore) or visit Chester Zoo** (ranked as the third-best zoo in the world)

FAQs
1. How do we get there?
Families make their own way either via private or public transport. They will also require transportation during the residential to get to places. Car sharing options might be explored once we open a dedicated WhatsApp group for those who sign up.
2. What age is it suitable for?
The residential is suitable for all ages, offering a variety of activities to match different interests. We propose an itinerary that includes some leader-led activities (included in the price) and other suggestions that families can choose to explore on their own or with friends. This flexible arrangement allows families to participate in group activities or create their own experiences, ensuring that everyone, from infants to elderly members, can enjoy the weekend in a way that best suits their needs.
3. What is the accommodation like?
Our accommodation is hostel-style. Each private 4-beds room features comfortable bunk beds and en-suite facilities. Shared spaces include a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, bathrooms, dining areas, and a lounge. The entire building is exclusively hired by TawakCool Adventures, ensuring that all facilities are used just by our group. Bed linen is provided.
4. What about meals?
Our residential is self-catering, providing flexibility for families to manage their own meals. Here are some convenient options to make food arrangements easy and enjoyable:
(a) Pre-cook at Home: You can prepare meals at home, freeze them, and bring them to the centre. There are fridge/freezer facilities on-site to store your food, which can be reheated whenever needed.
(b) Cook at the Centre: The centre features a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Just bring your groceries, and you can cook meals on-site. Feel free to share cooking duties or meals with friends and families joining us.
(c) Eat Out or Order In: You can also dine out or order food from local halal restaurants and takeaways. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby for ready-made or easily prepared food options.
(d) Catered Option: For an additional cost, a catered option is available. The hostel offers breakfast and dinner, which can be pre-booked or purchased on the day. We are also in the process of arranging a group halal meal option, with pricing details to be confirmed.
