Chipping Ongar Women’s Hike
Chipping Ongar is a pretty market town with a rich history. It was once the centre of an Anglo-Saxon hundred, an administrative area developed during the period. In 1162, Richard de Lucy, Chief Justice of England, built a great castle in the area, now ruins.
Explore St Andrew’s as it is said to be the oldest wooden church in the world dating from the 6th and 7th centuries.
Come along and see how the walk refreshes both body and mind, providing a boost of energy and clarity that will set a positive tone for the week ahead.
