Chiltern Hills Women’s hike

Embark on a captivating hike through the Chiltern Hills, a landscape shaped over millennia and cherished by generations. From a height of 561 feet (171 m), take in the sweeping valley views from a viewpoint along the Icknield Way Path, just a short distance from Ivinghoe Beacon, the dramatic end point of the Ridgeway National Trail.

Rising to 764 feet (233 m), Ivinghoe Beacon dominates the landscape, offering panoramic vistas of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire. The beacon’s name harkens back to ancient times, when fires were lit atop the summit to guide travelers and signal important messages.

At the summit of Steps Hill, enjoy more stunning vistas, this time overlooking Beacon Hill and the picturesque Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—a place of natural wonder that invites exploration and reflection.
