🗓️ Provisional Itinerary
🥾 Day 2 – Tuesday: Snowdon climb or explore surrounding villages and trails
Choose the adventure that suits you best:
- Â Snowdon Summit Hike: For those ready to take on a physical challenge, hike to the highest peak in Wales
- For families who prefer not to climb Snowdon, Tuesday offers a free day to explore the beauty of the local area at your own pace. Snowdonia is full of peaceful trails, charming villages, and magical spots perfect for discovery and relaxation.
One of our top recommendations is the Dinas Emrys Walk – a hidden gem steeped in Welsh mythology. This enchanting trail takes you through mossy woodlands, past three lovely waterfalls, and alongside sparkling streams – ideal for a paddle on a sunny day.
👣 The route includes gentle climbs and light scrambles, great for families with children who enjoy a bit of adventure.
🌄 Along the way, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Prefer something more relaxed? There are plenty of flatter, scenic lakeside paths and nearby villages to explore, where you can enjoy a slower pace, picnic spots, and the tranquil charm of Snowdonia National Park.
Whether you’re after myth, nature or peaceful beauty – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Spend the day exploring three unique spots on the Isle of Anglesey:
🌊 South Stack Lighthouse
Set atop dramatic sea cliffs, this is one of the most picturesque lighthouses in Wales
🌿 Breakwater Country Park
A peaceful coastal park with nature trails, rock pools, and a rich variety of wildlife – perfect for a calm stroll or quiet reflection. Great for families too.
👉 Optional: Join a fun orienteering challenge in the park – a light-hearted way to explore and engage with the surroundings.
🌲 Newborough Forest & Beach
A beautiful sandy beach framed by a fragrant pine forest.
